Ready, Steady, Go!

The Anglesey Soroptomists have chosen Ynys Môn Mind to be their charity of the year which is great news!

The Soroptomists will be supporting us through many fundraising initiatives and by championing the work we do.

This support has already started- here are some pictures of a charity walk that took place in aid of Ynys Môn Mind. Several members of the Anglesey Soroptomists and myself walked ten miles. It was a fun day, the weather was on our side and everyone at Ynys Môn Mind headquarters would like to say a big thank you to Pat West and the ladies for their ongoing support this year.

A day at the office

Things are progressing at Ynys Môn Mind Headquarters at a slow but sure pace. Our first Radio show  which focuses  on the stigma around Mental Health is almost near completion and we are planning  the launch of our  Rural Outreach Service for August at The Anglesey Show.  We are also working on our Campaign and I’ll let you know when that is ready to launch.

I’m working my way through the usual paperwork and will be completing some funding bids which (hopefully) if successful will enable us to carry on with the good work we do.

Nice to see the good  weather is  heading for the Island… I’m going to get out and about and on the beach and can’t wait to get in the sea snorkling, as this definitely enhances my well- being!
